Kevin Peterson along with 7 other prominent figurative artists from around the country have been selected to take part in the group show “Get Real: New American Painting” at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Jacksonville, Florida. Get Real’s heavily figurative focus explores themes that have persisted throughout the recent history of American realist painting such as narrative portraiture and social, psychological, and magical realism. 10 pieces of Peterson’s work will be on display. Inclusion in this museum exhibit marks a milestone in the career of Kevin Peterson.
