They have asked me to be part of “The Artist Eye” series at the world renowned Menil Collection. I will be speaking about painter James Rosenquist. I am very honored to have been asked and a bit nervous I must admit. Talk will be taking place on Sunday, June 5.
The prestigious Hunting Art Prize recently announced its finalsist for this years award and Kevin Peterson is on the list! The winner will be announced at a Gala to be held April 30th. Kevin’s painting “Graffiti Girl” was a finalist in 2008 and was also used in all of the promotional materials for that years prize. The recent painting entitled “Apart” was chosen this year.
NEOPOPSTREETFUNK presents Boarded Up at Gallery M Squared, 339 West 19th Street, Houston, TX 77008. The show runs from Dec. 11, 2010- Jan. 2, 2011. Opening reception will be held Dec. 11 from 7-10.
